Well, despite a nagging ankle injury, I completed Desert Triathlon in Palm Desert March 6th. Definitely a learning experience! This International distance race was for some of my TEAMmates, their very first race ever- for me it was my 3rd, but I have to say I came in with a whole new perspective.
I did not get a great "time", but I definitely learned a lot about pacing myself for a longer race, and had a BLAST racing with my amazing TEAM!
